I’m not sure when it began, and it may have been happening for years, without me noticing. I am noticing it, now. More and more I hear meteorologists, in Canada speaking of “weather events”. It used to be rainy or windy or snowy. If it was a significant amount, then it would be a rain storm or a wind storm. Suddenly, “storm” is not an acceptable description? Maybe that sounds too alarming for some folks. We had a serious “wind event” in late December. “Rain events” are pretty common-place, here on the West coast and, last night, we were warned of an impending “snow event”. I hope it’s downhill skiing…I love to watch that.ACCESS_POST_ACTIONS
