Spot the headline
Spot the headline
I came across a headline a couple of days ago that amused me. Dreadful puns are not restricted solely to "The Sun":
Beans bosses will be toast when Heinz workers strike
http://www.socialistworker.co.uk/art.php?id=23390
If anyone comes across amusing or just plain awful headlines along the lines of
Super Cally Go Ballistic, Celtic are Atrocious.
The Sun, Scotland, 2000
... here is the place to post them.

Re: Spot the headline
I may have mentioned in the past the graffito:
Deanz Meanz Finez
written on New College wall (opposite the King's Arms) in the 70s. Not a headline, but from the same menu.

Re: Spot the headline
Hundreds and Thousands are Sprinkled on Mr Jelley
Excellent headline. In the UK we call "sprinkles" hundreds and thousands, and "jello", jelly.
South Wales Evening Post
Interesting question, if you have a box of hundreds and thousands, what do you call one of them?

A headline in today's online edition of the Wichita Eagle read 'At last 1 killed in car-train accident'.
