a. They entered the building not in the usual way. This time, instead of going in through the main entrance, they entered through a small window in the back.
b. They entered the building, not in the usual way. This time, instead of going in through the main entrance, they entered through a small window in the back.
Is either of these grammatically correct?
Are they natural?
