Hi everyone! Do you and people where you live say "My phone is running out of juice" to mean "My phone is dying" or "My battery is almost out"?
Your answers will be highly appreciated.

It's pretty common here in the UK... By which I mean that I've said it myself, especially when I was still using the phone I had before this one.

My father used to say that his car was running out of juice when it needed petrol.
(Had he been American, it would have needed gasoline of course)

My feeling is that "juice" is used by many people (in the UK) for petrol in a car.
It is also used by electricians and tradespeople to mean electricity ("turn on the juice", etc.).
I don't think I often hear it among ordinary folks so much in reference to electricity, and I personally find it very strange in the context of a phone battery running out.
