- Hi everyone! The following sentences are complaints about a dry cleaner. What does "bananas expensive" mean in this case?

#1 They lost my sweater and said they would follow up with a phone call. It's been over a month and I've never heard back from them.

#2 When they lost my sweater, they still wanted to charge me for cleaning it.

#3 Regardless of #1 and #2, they're bananas expensive and there's other, better options literally steps away.

- Your answers will be greatly appreciated.

"He's bananas!" is a slangy way of saying "He's crazy!" (Don't ask me why — I have no idea!)

So "bananas expensive" means "craz(il)y expensive".
