Hi everyone! Which technical terms do you use to describe when a victim is taken to a hospital by a plane or a helicopter?

Thanks so much!

In the UK, we often talk about "air ambulances" (invariably helicopters) and people are "taken to hospital by air ambulance".

We also talk about people being "airlifted to hospital".

Usually airlifted, but sometimes "medevaced" - for medical evacuation.

Phil White and BonnieL : Thank you both very much for the versions. They're really useful.
