Hi everybody! In the following link, you can see six white pieces inside a peeled mangosteen. Do you call them "six pieces of mangosteen"? Or do you have another terms?

I am not too familiar with mangosteens but when talking about those natural divisions in citrus fruits (orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit ) you call them "segments".

There are also a couple of botanical terms for the segments of fruits like oranges (I doubt you'll ever hear them used in general conversation): carpels and juice vesicles.
