Feelings of inferiority

Post by Stevenloan » Wed Apr 13, 2011 5:13 pm

- My best friend likes a girl very much, but he doesn't have the guts to ask her out because the girl is so pretty and has a stable job, he says he is not very good-looking, but I think he looks ok enough :) he says he's not very rich but he earns enough money. In this context I might say one of these, right?

"Why do you always have inferiority complex? Be confident!"
"Why do you have feelings of inferiority towards other people? You have to be confident!"

Thanks a million!

"Stop putting yourself down and grow a pair. Would you like a little cheese to go with that whine? Wanker!"
....you can only use this one on a good friend ;)

"Why do you always have inferiority complex?
I think you should add 'an' before 'inferiority complex.'

There's always the old saying: "Nothing ventured, nothing gained". Or, as Kryten on Red Dwarf paraphrased, "If you don't gosub a program loop, you'll never get a subroutine."
Perhaps "Faint heart never won fair lady" is a little too near the bone.
