n. suiciders - coined by U.S. President George W Bush, Harvard Business Garduate of dubious (dubyas?)intellectual competence, when lost for an appropriate word at a Presidential Press Conference at the White House on the 28th October 2003.

Used to describe desparate Islamic youth who commit suicidal acts of vengance mainly agains American targets whom they perceive as invaders, occupiers and crusaders.

Dear anonymous contributor. Thanks for your astute posting. I’m not a big fan of Dubya (although he can probably spell graduate, which you seem to be having some trouble with), but what would you say the “appropriate WORD” is for suicide attackers such as you describe below. Offhand, I can’t think of one. During WW II we had Kamikazes – they weren’t usually called aerial suicide bombers. Seems we are in need of a single word, and looks to me like Georgie Porgie didn’t do a bad job of stumbling onto one in his inimitable, inarticulate way. The coining of a useful new word is a noble deed – even if unintentional. Give credit where credit is due and I’m looking forward to seeing ‘suiciders’ in the next edition of the OED! (<;)

Dear unknown poster boy:
What does 'mainly agains' mean????????

Here, I give you the standard rule:

As a rule, man is a fool,
When it's hot, he wants it cool;
When it's cool he wants it hot,
Always wanting what is not.

Oh shoot, forgot to give you my view of the word 'suiciders.'

Moral cowards, the plural of them. Bush is correct.

Not as far as I know. On the other hand, the term 'political grandee' is of long standing, meaning a politician whose personal fortune is based on bribes given in $1000 increments.

A Rory Bremner skit on Mr Bush reported him as saying (I'm not sure how accurately),"Some of these terrorists are making allegations that we're only interested in oil, not in destroying their stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction. We're going to get these allegators." The programme cast doubts on the existance of wannabee aggressees. And if the aggressees were Moslems, they would certainly not wannabeer. EA

Well, the "patriotic" left has continued to express the idea that we are in a quagmire. Bush is just saying that that it is hard to drain the swamp when you are up to your ass in "allegators." No big deal! They tend to devour their own kind.

I believe it was Churchill who said, "An appeaser is one who feeds a crocidile, hoping it will eat him last."
