Whatever else Smoke me a Kipper is, it's almost certainly a ditransitive construction.
I quoted "Hum me it" elsewhere, but the possibility of "Can you borrow me it?" as an acceptable alternative to "Can you borrow it (off them) for me (to use)?" reared its ugly head in conversation the other day.

I noticed the words "Sausage Me A Gregory" etched on the album The Outfield's Play Deep while converting it to digital.
