Just for fun

Here's where you can set a challenge or invite other Wordwizard members to take part in a word-related game of some kind.

To stop things getting too confusing, it's probably best to create a separate thread for each new game or challenge.

Just for fun

Inspired by "The Meaning of Liff" by Douglas Adams and John Lloyd, I thought it might be fun to coin words for everyday experiences (but unlike the Meaning of Liff, not restricting ourselves to place names).

One person suggests an everyday experience or object and the rest of us try to coin suitable words for it.

Here's one to start with:
The item of clothing that lurks in the bottom of the dirty linen basket and never gets washed.

Hah! Ignoreduroys!
From my friend, Dave: neverwear.

This is fun. That thing two people perform on the sidewalk when they are approaching each other face on and can't figure out whether to pass on the right or on the left.
