Well, he's official!
The NY Times has an article on-line today about Barack Obama's favorite books, authors that have inspired him, and some other topics related to presidential "brain food".

Terribly "worthy" reading list. Puts me to shame for reading the eclectic mixture of crap I do. Wouldn't it have been reassuring if the list included just one out and out thriller or science fiction or comedy or even a James Patterson or something. Guess I'll never be a president then. Damn.

What? The poor sod never read "Mother Goose's Nursery Rhymes"? Enid Blyton's "Noddy Becomes President"? That's Grimm!

.. and no child's education can be complete without a solid dose of Obamas in Pyjamas .. in fact this Aussie show was prophetic in having a whole lineup of Presidential Aides .. Gregory and Peck, Dolly and Pedro, Tolstoy and Tomasina and Rat in a Hat .. and the theme song ..

Obamas in pyjamas are coming down the stairs,
Obamas in pyjamas are running down in pairs,
Obamas in pyjamas are chasing terorists there,
Cos on Tuesdays the FBI tries to catch them unawares.

WoZ sliding down the bannister

Real words
Bananas in pyjamas are coming down the stairs,
Bananas in pyjamas are coming down in pairs,
Bananas in pyjamas are chasing teddy bears,
Cos on Tuesdays they all try to catch them unawares.
