I was surfing Slate yesterday when I came across this article by Farhad Manjoo about Codeacademy.com, a website that promises gratis interactive tuition in computer programming. As far as I can see, anyone can register to take part regardless of their previous programming experience or level of knowledge.
I can't at this point definitively recommend Codeacademy's offerings as I haven't yet tried them out for myself, but I thought they might still interest some of our own site visitors.
If you decide to try out one of the courses, by all means return here and report on your experiences.
This area has been established to allow you, our visitors and contributors, to get to know one another a bit better, or to discuss subjects of general interest, without feeling obliged to restrict your postings to language-related topics. But we draw the line at floccinaucinihilivilification.
End of topic.
