Paradoxically, I just received an email that this thread had a new comment. The date of the comment was one year ago. So I guess the year 0 has been tested by the software and has chosen to subtract 1!

There's clearly going to be a problem with these numerically incrementing Windows versions when Microsoft decides to release the successor to Windows 94.
